Not so subtle hint about my hints. Target, my even clues are the only ones that apply to you. The odd clues apply to somebody else, who may or may not ever get the box of beer that I sent last week (which USPS has shown a status of "Moving Through Network" for a week). I believe the last post where I summarized all my previous hints was post 978

 

I was eyeing up curmudgeon's better half as my guess, but I wasn't sure if that was a one off or not.

 

Oooh, that's a nice one. Only one I've had from that brewery.

 

Watched that at the time. A couple years before I'd really gotten into Zevon. Actually had to miss my only chance of seeing him live on account of having to catch an early morning flight the following day. Still gutted about that.

 

Amen. Waved 3 chicken bones counterclockwise instead of only 2.
But seriously, tanks all of the kind words and thoughts. She's better and now I'm into the usual grind...I think.

 

Hint #7
So two of my favorite steam locomotives spent time in their retirement near me in CA. As a kid, I had plenty of moments excitedly “chasing” steam here in SoCal, as well as in Colorado and Wyoming. Plenty of visits to these iron behemoths in the Cheyenne roundhouse and in and out of Laramie. In 2014, the Big Boy left Socal in the direction of one my first of a few boxes.
If any of you are even tepid rail fans I recommend checking out this video. The fifth minute begins a really beautiful shot.

 

Target , I’m hearing deliverance

 

The last (I think) of the fresh hopped beer from @woemad - and it was very different from the first ones. Maybe because it’s just strata hops which are very mild compared to, say, Zappa hops or maybe the tacos I was eating, but it was the mildest WCIPA I think I have had lately.
Beautiful pour and lacing, mild aroma and the flavor was light citrus that eventually gave way to the piney edge so common to the style. I think I expected a flavor bomb like the last one and didn’t prepare for this one properly. Definitely tasty, but I think I lost the nuances to the salsa!
Needs more research I think.
