In the same boat here. There were a couple of beers that I wanted to include in my sent package, but not sure if I did. If not that's for the next package, along with some that didn't fit into the first one, which might arrive today, if the estimate is correct.

Edit, the estimate is not correct. Hopefully tomorrow.

My target hasn’t recognized the encampment shown earlier, but I strongly suspect he has heard of the event based on his proximity to it.
So to maybe help jog your memory, early web searches for this event would inevitably autocorrect the name to the primary segment of the male reproductive system as it’s the same first 3 letters.

@Beersnake1 hit me hard. My friends are mad at me because their front step will need to be redone now.

    Holy crap, Tim!
    Beer from Namibia!
Cantillion - I can't get that here, and have never had one of their beers before.
Fremont - Heck yes. I was exposed a bit while out west a couple of months back, and in previous BIFs.
New beers I've not had from California - stoked.
Mystery beers are always interesting and exciting.
Biltong, is something I've actually had before. My friends, when they lived in St. Paul, had a neighbor from South Africa, and he made it. It was delicious, and am excited to have it again.
A cool bottle opener from Belgium.

Damn! You rock!!!!! I am honored to be your target, and am so happy to be able to try these beers. Thank you from the bottom of my lump of charcoal heart.

I finally got a picture of my odometer for that LIF. Apologies for the delay. I’m still testing positive for COVID, but my symptoms have all but cleared up. Unfortunately, my daughter has walking pneumonia, so we are being extra cautious until I test negative. Give me a bit to comb through the pages to see who was victorious and I’ll get that box out next week. Cheers.

And yes, the car needs a thorough wash…

According to my math, the closest without going over is @Roy_Hobbs .

I’ll get that out to you next week. Is it safe to assume your address is unchanged?

    Cheers.

Well, much like the Kraken last night, it seems that UPS has come through and sent the package to its intended goal!
That's always the nerve wracking part, right, the waiting to make sure nothing goes wrong in transit?

I'm glad everything made it safely! I had some of that Oryx biltong when I was in Namibia and really enjoyed it. I look forward to hearing your thoughts about the beers! Also, be advised that both of those mystery beers lean higher on the ABV spectrum . Enjoy!

That game was insane. I can't believe the Flames gave up a 4-2 lead in the final minutes. However, your box made it safely! It was bomb proof!! Thanks again!

Home from a local brewery, and I'd better do a mystery beer from @Beersnake1 :

It's higher octane, I was told. Here's my thoughts on it. I will post my review in said beer, once I'm done, and know what it is, without editing. I will also post it on UT, but edited, of course for space.

    Mystery beer:

This review is written blind. I have no clue as to what it is when writing this. All I've been told is it's higher ABV:

    Looks - 4.25

Brown pouring with a 1 finger or so tan head. The retention is decent. There's no lacing on the glass. Looks like it could be a barleywine?

    Aroma - 3.75
Well, whatever it is, it smells very barrel aged. I'm guessing whiskey barrel. That is the main aroma I get here. Not really getting a lot of depth in the aroma.

    Taste - 4.5

The flavor is a lot more deep than the aroma let on. It's boozy up front for a second. The back is where the flavors kick in. Tons of caramel and toffee hit hard. A bit of plum comes in as well on the way back.

    Body - 4.75
The body is full. From the aroma I was expecting a booze bomb, but it's not. There's a bit of heat that hits up front, but mellow. The body is quite full, and very smooth.Very little burn.

    Overall - 4.5
I am not sure what it is. I'm guessing a BA barleywine, but probably totally wrong here. Whatever it is, I like it, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to try it.

The only thing I got right is it was a BA beer. totally wrong on the style. Who cares, it's delicious. Never heard of it before @Beersnake1 mentioned it in his BIF give a away.

Thank you for exposing me to this beer.
