In a good way or a bad way?

Last beer I heard described that was was watermelon dorado and it was brutal.

I didn't love it, personally. I'm not drinking many IPAs these days, so your mileage may vary.

I wish they'd do that with a few of these. Really liked Northeast Hero out of the last pack but don't necessarily need more Trident or Tropic Hero even though they were both fine.

Agreed. I don't need distro but a pick your own 6-pack at the pub or taproom would be a great option and doesn't seem too hard to pull off.

I know I'd also likely grab vintage deep wood offerings on impulse (frequently) if a $10 single can (maple, raspberries, etc.) was an option.

Not anytime soon unfortunately. Not enough spots on the shelf for all of these.

Subz-Hero will return in the Spring in the League of Heroes.

When you think of 12oz servings of BA brews in 4PKS …Deep Wood series delivers for price taste and quality .

How do those of you who have had the chance to try both feel about this year's Cafe Deth compared to Crushing Mass? As someone who hasn't been the biggest CD fan in previous years, the reports about this year's version have me excited and I'd really like to do that side-by-side when I get a chance.

I've had both, and both are excellent, and have outstanding value for their respective prices.
My 8 bottles of Crushing Mass lasted 4 weeks, and I haven't seen more at my local places.
My 2 cans of Cafe Deth scream for more, and I will use Rev Rewards to get 2 more 4pks soon.
They are different, but similar, and I need to do a side by side, but you cannot go wrong with either, or even better: BOTH!

I did a side by side last night blind. I preferred crushing. Crushing was heavier on the coffee, cafe had a bit more barrel shining through. I say this as someone who loves cafe and bought more cafe than anything else in the past couple of years.

yardwork break beer. this is an incredible barrel-aged ale. i always knew Rev’s barley / rye wine game was tops but i was super impressed with this one. and yes, i take hour-long breaks to drink during yardwork.

I'm a quarter point advantage to Cafe Deth.

I thought last year that Crushing Mass had Cafe beat, but I think this year I'm preferring Cafe.

I’m with @thewimperoo here. Crushing Mass is excellent as it was last year, but the base Deth (to me at least) is the best yet. And the coffee is close to Supermassive. I tend to reach for that over CM right now.

In my opinion, regular Deth is just outstanding this year. I need to get more already.

Your right about base Deth’s this year. Cafe Deth outstanding, Deth’s for price and taste just as good , buy both!

What do you all think changed with Deth's Tar? The love for this beer has increased 100 fold over any previous year, it seems at least to me.
