    Not at all - pretty much as you described, it's quite tasty! And I like that they donate 10% of profits to the Western MA Foodbank. Win-win situation.

    Late to the posting party today - had a great visit with @beergoot today....did some nice hiking in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and a brew on my deck overlooking the lake I live on afterwards....he gifted me with some awesome beers, including this one - Thanks again, Dave!

    Brewing Projekt Wiggly Wigglers Smoothie Sour, 7.7% ABV. Pours thick and opaque medium-red with a half-finger light-red head that left some lacing and puree residue. Nose is slight fruit mashup. Taste is lemon/lime/mandarin and pineapple up front, the other fruits hiding in the shadows, quite sweet and equally tart. Decent mouthfeel, overall outstanding.

    look: 3.75 | smell: 4 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.75

    Cloudy, golden yellow body; thin, white head, lasting. Nice esters in the smell; peach and apricot. Malty flavor with notes of biscuit and cracker; moderate bitterness presence; some hop spiciness. Medium body; a tad coarse on the palate.

    A good beer, just a little rough in places, but malty with a nice hop bitterness.

    Celebrating All Souls Day with Chicago's very own Don Cornelius, who created Soul Train on local UHF station WCIU in 1970. It was too real filming the show here, so they moved to LA the next year.

    Clear, dark copper body; light khaki head, dense and semi-creamy. Malt-like nose with some noble hop aroma. Excellent malt flavor; caramel; some esters noted; mild to moderate hop bitterness. Medium-heavy body; smooth with a gentle warmth.

    A nice, solid doppelbock.
