I may legitimately prefer gargling gasoline.

Anybody try Nightcap? Haven’t bought their stouts lately as my palate just doesn’t like the sweetness like I once did, but this sounds like a really cool idea.

I really, really like The Greenest Green.

It's not much different from VGGG (and I prefer that beer) but when you can take the Green flavor and just jetpack that shit to the moon I am all about it.

Kind of reminds me of the first time I had Green.

I might grab a 2 pack on Tuesday, it’s something I’ve been wanting them to do since they started offering decaf.

So I've never been but hope to hit Charlton in a week next Sunday on my way back from daughter's college. If I order at 10am what are my chances of getting pickup quickly at 12 when they open . Will have rest of family in car.

Straight can line might not be bad but always a gamble

Little Ripper is a fucking banger and it’s that exact super-clean-and-balanced-but-still-juicy profile that’s near impossible to find anymore. I love it so much.

Estrellita is tasting great. But I think it’s a bit more subdued than I expected compared to Walden or Pink Bourbon. A little shocked given the media around it. However looking back I think Nate wanted to show the relationship more so than the beans. Curious is anyone tasted similar?

Also wanted to add that while I enjoy Mega Treat it may push just a smidge too far for me. I enjoyed my pours of jumbo a bit more. I can see where they definitely have some limits. Then again PFTL have been great so who knows lol

This is how I feel almost every time I have a "King" or a "Very". I'm thinking "This is great and all, but it's how I remember Julius and Green used to taste, only now I'm paying over a dollar more per can."

I really hope it's just palate fatigue and cognitive bias, but it seems like every time TH pushes the limit with the next stutter iteration, it pushes all the others back a step. It's especially troubling when I drink a Very Hazy and can barely taste it, but then the VVVHhh blows me away. It's like I'm drinking Haze and VH for the first time back when VH first came out.

I honestly can't remember the last time I had a Green that matches my review of it on this site. I've had VGs that match it to a T, but even the best Greens I've had in the past few years pale in comparison to how I remember good batches of Green tasting. And I know everybody is going to point to palate fatigue or tastes changing (or "it was better in Monson"), but I've definitely had lackluster Greens back in the day that were just as "meh" as most of the Greens I've had today.

I know everybody says the best beers you can buy at Tree House are the core beers, but honestly every time I do that, I'm disappointed. So I buy the Very instead and am much more satisfied with the unfortunate side effect of a much lighter wallet.

I’m hearing that they’re pulling any ipa over a month old, from the to go menu.

Had the pleasure of trying a number of Treehouse beers compliments of an absolutely excellent BA over the past week.

I've got to say, my conclusion is that I don't like NEIPA.

All the beers were excellently aromatic. Fantastic fruity aromas poppin out for sure. I was startled by the bitterness honestly. Julius and King Julius were both overly bitter from my perspective. Alter Ego had an epic strawberry note that was very unique to my experience, Haze was unambiguously the stand out for me though.

All told I can't say I understand why treehouse stands out above other brewers to so many people, but apparently I don't like neipa so fuck my opinion for sure

Being in California, do you like the West Coast IPAs? I would be surprised if you do, because I definitely wouldn't qualify Julius or KJ as bitter

I just visited the Sandwich location for the first time and got Julius cans and, for the first time since Charlton opened, it tasted like prime Julius. Don't know if it was made in a smaller tank or what but I was finally blown away by that beer again. Hoping Green is the same way.

I definitely do enjoy wc ipas, although I am coming off an extended break from beer and have definitely noticed that my palate is way more sensitive to hop bitterness than it was before.

I think a lot of it was expectation though, I expected very low bitterness from them especially after getting a whiff, and there was just a lot more citrus pith going on. KJ felt especially imbalanced in that direction to me.
