Good afternoon, all! I'm also drinking Celebration, served in a #proper Christmas-themed tulip glass that I picked up at the thrift store for a quarter. This was canned on 10/03. I'm not getting any grapefruit or citrus notes. It's malty as hell, with lots of bitterness on the back end and a lingering oily finish. Needless to say, not impressed.

The beauty of beer and all of us enjoying different things, this beer seemed to be quite a hit for several weeks now, but here's an interesting and different review of it.

I miss SN IPA Hop hunter as a side note. Haven't seen it since years.

Hi-Wire Brewing Co. -- Wickles Pickle Beer
    A sour beer

Pale yellow body; excellent carbonation; initial fair head, relatively thick and white, eventually fades completely away. Rather pleasant mild pickle juice aroma. Tastes like pickle juice with a very slight sense of being a sour beer; dill; briny. Medium body; generally smooth; very faint sourness.

I wouldn't readily pickup a beer like this, but this was gifted to me. It actually ain't bad for what it is. I'd have another one. With a big juicy cheeseburger and some fries to go with it.

Beautiful day here, but a little under the weather. Going with one nice and easy beer and hoping for a better day tomorrow, as it's supposed to hit 72F! (It's 68 now).

    versus
    4) Utepils Helles (5.1%): A German-style Helles from Minnesota with flavors of

    5) Equilibrium Hubble Palate (8.0% canned 8/10/22): A NEIPA from NY with DDH Apollo, Comet, Strata, and Galaxy for flavors of grapefruit citrus and mango. Some yeasty and tart citrus astringency.
    versus
    6) Equilibrium Einstein’s Lambo (8.5% canned 7/29/22): A NEIPA from NY with flavors of creamy pineapple and mango. Some strawberry limeade smoothie flavor. Soft, creamy, smooth.
(mismatched #1 and #2 blind, correctly matched the rest)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Winners:

    2) Bad Weather Pils: First try at this new release from Bad Weather and it was very nice. Hoppy with grassy and floral hops. A distinct bitterness too. Very nice German Pils.

    3) Bad Weather Helles: Unexpectedly great. Utepils has been my favorite American-made Helles, but this one gives it a run for it's money. Tons of sweet bread and honey biscuit malts. Nails the flavors. Bad Weather for the win tonight.

    6) Equilibrium Einstein's Lambo: Glad I found this single and wishing I had grabbed more. Tons of creamy mango and pineapple with a strawberry limeade smoothie flavor. Creamy, soft, smooth and the carbonation provides a dryness to this one. World-Class in a glass.

An eventful morning. Our son defended his master's thesis, and he did an excellent job. Hoping to get a paper or two out of it.
I'm drinking this nice amber ale, sent to me by @Manta200.

@SABERG - utilizing fresh hops from 4 Star Farms BTW. From the can:

We skipped the delivery truck and drove our van right to the farm so we could wet hop with the freshest hops possible. Also, called the brewery - the ABV is 5.9 % - it's not marked on the can. I added it to the BA database.

    Good stuff!
