    Good morning BAs! Dogs and I have been stuck in the house all morning…now it’s coffee time - KBS MMF:

    Bottled 8/8/22. Poured at 54°. Chocolate fudge with maple swirl and a bit o’ bourbon.

    Pounding steady rain, windy with occasional big gusts of wind as TS Nichole winds her way up the middle of Florida. Nothing bad so far…I’m probably indoors all day watching the rain. Cheers and have a great day y’all!

    Moving on to River North Brewery’s Decennial V: Dark Sorceress (2021), an imperial porter:

    Poured at 52°. Ruby brown with clarity under non-existent head; no cap, no ring, no lacing; on swirl small spots of lace and heavy legs. Roast malt and char nose; phenolic retro nasal. Char, bittersweet dark chocolate entry; burnt brown bread; dark fruit tartness in the finish. Light body; warmth in mouth from 15.1% abv; light carbonation. Overall a kinda whimpy imperial porter; some alcohol bite on the tongue is the most interesting thing about this beer; good, but nowhere in the same class as imperial porters from Põhjala.

    Today reminds me of when I drank by myself as a teen in biker bars, pitchers of Shroh’s for 80 cents. Good times…quiet…Cheers y’all!

    Happy sunny Thursday BA's - already 65 degrees at 11 am here - supposed to get up to near 70, before big rains come up from the TS in FL Friday.....gotta pull my Hobie cat out of the water for the season this afternoon -dropped the mast at my dock yesterday, and stored away some other boats in my garage as well....sad times!

    Picked up this new beer from BrewDog this morning after our walk - was just pkg'ed 11/3, so pretty fresh and tasty stout!

    Howdy folks. Thanks @DoctorZombies for 3673. Pleased to announce that my wife is feeling much better today after 12+ hrs of sleep. Still not outa the woods yet. Thanks Advocates for your kind thoughts and words! Beer you say? Bell's Lager of the Lakes Bohemian Pilsner. It's very good and its hops are a wee bit resinous. Nice hint of bread as well. Cheers!

    Boulevard Rum Barrel Aged Spice Cake impy brown ale... 1st out of this year's 3x2 "barrel aged 6er"... pretty close to being over the top spice-wise, but still very enjoyable to drink

    Founders All Day Chill Day, Cold IPA, 4.8% - a surprisingly tasty light IPA, crystal clear, flowery, goes down like spring water on a hot day! Solid and cheap! Cheers! :beers:
