New Navigation Tab: Members

    You may have noticed a new navigation tab: Members

    Without our Members, our Community, BeerAdvocate wouldn't be here today. So, that's why I banged this out over the weekend. To highlight what makes us BA.

    Clicking it brings you to Notable Members, were you'll find revamped lists for Most Karma, Most Beers (reviewed), Most Places (reviewed), Most Messages (in the forum), Most Likes, and Staff Members (mods and whatnot). Some of these lists are native, others I've patched together for stats beyond the forum, and I plan on adding a few more overtime.

    And, if you look at the quick links under Members, you'll also find links to Current Visitors, Recent Activity, and New Profile Posts. Profile Posts?! Check out Introducing: Profile Posts for Society Members

    Anyway...I'm still tweaking things, but I hope you find the new section useful.

    I think it’s neat. It’s cool to recognize people who contribute. They’re taking time out of their day to provide content here for us to enjoy for free. Good work. Cheers.

    @Todd A minor problem with the Most Notable tabs: The Most Likes tab reads Most Messages until I click on it or the Staff Members tab, but I get the most likes list when I click it.

    I can't replicate this. The default when clicking on the Members in the site nav is Most Messages, and then you have to click each tab to view those lists.

    Could be your device.

    Less than 200 posts until I hit the bottom of the most messages...

    Hmm....doable by 2023 me thinks....

    When you are first presented with Most Messages tab, click on one of the tabs to the left, like Most Karma. The Most Likes tab then gets renamed to Most Messages. This is occurring for me too and what I think @PapaGoose03 meant above.

    My bad. I was looking at data, not the tab names.

    Refresh. It's been fixed.

    You could always look this stuff up, this is just a cleaned up, easier to use update.

    Sort of, but it wasn't as integrated. There's also more info/lists now.

    Right, but I remember it being easier to search for fellow BA's. Similar to this update.
