Abita Purple Haze 4.2%. People don't like this beer. Been drinking it for a long time. I like it.

 

A few years back I helped a friend at a great local beer, wine, grocery store (Bestway, Walker Ave, GSO) and that 60s Hendrix reference still resonated. The beer sold very well.

 

I’ve been taking down and boxing up my Halloween Village this morning…taking another break, sitting on the patio with the dogs, drinking a KBS:



Bottled 8/13/22. Poured at 52°. Partly sunny and 66° outside, very comfortable day on tap weather-wise - I’m sure @SawDog505 and family are having great weather in Orlando. Hopefully the cooler temps will last through his trip! Cheers gang!

First sips while waiting to warm up are just like I had hoped for. Going back to the brewery on Thursday (weather permitting) to pick up the next Deep Woods releases. Need to try not to buy more than my season ticket allotment.
