Happy hump day ba. Into it here with MC2, dipa, equilibrium. Nice and smooth with lots of good fruit notes. I mostly get melon and peach. Not so sure about a 96 score but it’s good drinking nonetheless,

 

I'll swear it's not like the first cans of MC² iv had. Past few batches of cans and growler fill iv had was very lackluster. To the point where I won't buy it anymore.

I am day drinking at one of my local breweries, Balsam Falls in beautiful downtown Sylva NC.
I am drinking a Elevenses Livener Dark Mild, with 3.5 ABV, Pretty damn good and a nice opening for the rest of the afternoon.

I miss having an OC near me. I know I had a blast at the one in Billings, MT when I was out there on vacation back in August.

 

I can see that, kinda sucks how that happened for a wider distribution. Think I got lucky on my first pack. Its what turned me onto hazies. I couldn't believe a beer had that much flavor.

 

Yep tastes similar to a Second Fiddle. I'll start a argument here I like Yellow Rose better..

I have faith in my yellow rose. I had a can out that batch and it was A fuckin 1. I like YR slightly better because you get the same hop notes if not more with lower abv. Meaning you can drink more and not feel as full. At least that's my 2 cents on it.

Right along here ba. Trosten, dark smoked lager, von trapp. I’m not overly familiar with the style but this drinks very nicely. Crisp and clean with good robust notes of chocolate malt, and coffee. The smoke seems to set the stage but it also doesn’t drown out other aspects.

 

I was in a different part of town last night, so I went to a Whole Foods that wasn’t my local one. Not only did I find a Russian River beer that I haven't had before (Citra Flash Mob), I got this 8 day old Pliny. Bottles at my local Whole Foods range from 2-4 weeks old, while the liquor store a stone’s throw from my place currently has Pliny’s bottled in September (no sir! Damn shame, I must say).
