Did a search and couldn't find a thread on this topic. I was in Southern Illinois this time last year and muffin tin flight boards were a thing in that area. I personally think it looks trashy, but I'm not one to judge

Anywho, what are the craziest/most elaborate/odd flight boards you've ever seen?

I hear you on the kinda trashy look, but those would be MUCH easier to carry than the flat boards (e.g. taking it to your table or outside).
I have seen some very cool hand-carved boards though.

Here's some my wife and I made from old bourbon barrel staves. I was pretty proud of how they turned out.

These at least contain the inevitable spills as they're carried away.

There's a brewery in my town (maybe Wander) does this.

A brewery in my town, whose logo is a couple guys smuggling barrels in a row boat, used small boats.

Y-Town Brewery in Zanesville, OH use a "Y" shaped flight board, the only time I've seen that.

I didn't take a picture, but just last night I stopped in KCBC after hitting a concert in Brooklyn. They served my flight in a very thin (~0.5") clear plastic board that slid down the glasses after they set it down. Probably good for storage space and cleaning but very odd

This is the flight board at the old CBC restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. That location has since closed. I haven't been to the new taproom, so I don't know if they're still using these. I asked if they would sell me one, but lost interest when I found out they cost the restaurant $70 apiece.

A brewery near me does the muffin tins, but it works for their vibe:

I was quite charmed by these cozy little boxes on a chilly afternoon by the fire pit.

sushi restaurants nailed it, so imagine a boat for the table that had like 50 samples on it

A number of years ago I visited the Superior Bathhouse Brewery in Hot Springs, Arkansas and they had a sampling board with 18 beers. I saw one person sitting near us that ordered one. I thought to myself: that's a lot of samples!

Looking closer at the beer choices, that pic was taken this past summer.

Cahaba Brewing has Alabama shaped ones(at least they did several years ago). I have one in my basement bar.

That's because Zanesville is the only place with a Y bridge.
