I particularly enjoy fancy planes. Don’t often care too much for plain ones

 

Just read the description of the Purple wax DBD Bourbon Port. Exactly the same as the red waxed version they released back in February/March. Assuming it’s not a copy/paste mistake, interesting that it’s identical, no added aging or anything.

Will at least make it easy for me to skip that one for the other options when I’m in town. I enjoyed it, but loved the Stagg Jr and the Mizunara sounds much more like that, so hopefully it lasts.

 

i noticed this too… and it didn’t even hit me that it could be a copy and paste error. i suppose there’s a small chance it was aged exactly the same length of time as the red wax from earlier in the year.

 

Just looked at the brewery page and they have the new description there. So it is different, just an error in the listing on the cellar page

 

isn’t “coconut vibes recipe (pre-coconut)” just vibes

 

For the most recent batch, the base was lagered for some period of time. So maybe that’s what they mean.

It's is a decanter...for all that ails you.

 

Hope it lasts till next weekend, would love to give it a try. Not going to hold my breath though. Appears it’s no longer available at the brewery location.

 

Le saisonner isn’t the top of my list of favorites, but dammit the ddh version is incredible
