Well, I've got a workaround for the Windows 11 "improvement" - with only three extra steps I can now move photos from my camera to my hard drive. Today's New Breakfast Beer:




Every year I trundle to World Market while I’m in SAT to look for Ridgeway beers, weird foods in strange packages, and cheap Glühwein. This year the food was the tastiest of the three. Not that the beer was bad – the bitterness just seemed a bit much for the light body. The weak unidentifiable nuttiness didn’t help either. I can’t find the sales receipt, but these Ridgeway brews usually run $5 - $6 a bottle so at least it was cheap.

Good morning BAs! Cold and rainy morning so far…drinking Hoppin’ Frog’s Pentuple, a hoppy Belgian-style Trippel amped up on alcohol:



The 2019 GABF Bronze, and 2021 GABF Gold medal winner in the Belgian-Style Strong Specialty Ale category. BB date is 5/13/2025. This beer packs a punch at 15.1%. A sweet Trippel on alcohol steroids…I like!

Eating some leftovers and watching some football. Didn't get out of bed for the EARLY match but Belgium v Morocco was pretty entertaining. Hoping for a similarly interesting match out of Croatia & Canada. Another tasty Enegren lager.

Happy rainy Sunday.....hopefully it will stop for a bit after lunch so Emma and I can get in our daily hike! I really like this beer - really great, and one of my favorite "wee heavy" beers!
