I’ve tried to keep my mouth shut but everything I’ve had from voodoo has been trash.
Doesn’t matter if it was aged in Pappy 100 years.

They have a few standouts (certain black magicks, zangiefs and a few others) but I'll agree that a significant percentage of their stuff doesn't live up to the hype.

I think what really hurts them is their lack of policing secondary like they used to. They used to enforce ban list for anyone caught reselling their barrel room beers. Now its like a currency in western PA. Id wager that as much 50% of their winners are just people reselling. Never tasting themselves but adding fake hype reviews.

Couple that with the massive amount of barrel aged beers theyve put out in the last couple years and its easier than ever to get them. Either by winning or just buying for a few dollars over cost from scalpers.

Scarcity promotes hype and thats removed from voodoo. That's truly why nobody cares about voodoo anymore.

 

You will need to add to get either bottle that your chasing. MA is an absolute monster. Good luck tho
