Good day my European brethren, and good morning to the BAs drinking and yet to post this beautiful morning. Usual chores done so kick in’ back with “Coconut Deth” from Revolution:



Canned 7/13/22. Poured at 54°. I agree with @ChicagoJ insofar that many imperial stouts should not be aged (some can and should be aged, imo), and coconut stouts is on that list. The beer in my glass is delicious with lots of boozy Mounds candy bar bourbon, chocolate and coconut. However, I’m getting a little less coconut than a few weeks ago (I have found coconut flavor fades quickly over time) and I’m glad I’m drinking this delicious 15% BBA impy stout Now!

Lovely sunny 66° morning for walking the dogs earlier. Temps should hit low 80s today. I have a bundle of BCBS and variants to pick up today. Hope to see y’all later today. Cheers!

I got this from Beer Drop and it is definitely a different kettle of fish. Overall, I thought it was pretty good.

That is an excellent beer, and I need to crack open my remaining cans before the well incorporated coconut fades. Pre Coconut Deth release, I would sometimes pair a Deth's Tar with a Mounds Bar and loved it. Stopped myself a few blocks into picking up yet another BCBS 4 pack in a moment of sanity, since my refrigerator is completely full and I need to seriously cull my current stock. At one at home beer a day (90% + of the time), it takes a long time for my consumption to outpace my wants / desires. Also very nice to see your local place featured in the America's Best Beer Shop article

Inspired by the Good Doctor and my Winter travel planning, I too pulled out a Revolution beer to celebrate the morning.
