Mike here, 65 years and feeling it. Transplanted Englishman, first to Philadelphia in 1983, then moved slowly northwest before ending up here in Pottsville in 1992, working 5 blocks from Yuengling. Full time office worker, part time bottle shop guy. Hoping to retire from the first one in a couple years. Grew up on fine cask ales, Monty Python, & Motorhead. Love BeerAdvocate, source of so much of my beer knowledge. Wish I'd found it sooner. Cheers all!
For a bottle shop worker, this site has to be a valuable resource. Good luck on your quest for retirement. It's great.
John here, but known in the local paddling community as Fish here in The Smoky Mountains. Yes, another old guy, 67 and a half, yes the half counts more and more as one ages Retired now since 2009, retirement is absolutely amazing, but not entirely what you think it is, you've been warned. Huge fan of BA, I've learned so much about beer since I came here and I am thankful for all my BA Brethren. Cheers!
"Grew up on fine cask ales, Monty Python, & Moorhead." Well, you may be feeling 65, but I would argue you have the trifecta for longevity there. Long live, Lemmy!
