Rich and surprisingly well balanced (for a salted caramel beer). Dense body coats the glass and mouth, while residual sugar builds with each sip. The heat and layered character builds as it warms. Definitely retains its roots as a stout.

[IMG] I’m not sure if this will be allowed on this thread, but I’m going to roll the dice, and post it! Saugatuck Brewing Company, “Barrel Aged Peanut Butter Imperial Porter “! @Resistance88 will surely keep me on the straight and narrow if not!

Couldn't find willetized this year, so I decided to drink my last bottle (from 2020). It's real nice. Coffee is a little subdued, rye is prominent but not hot, and the underlying beer is taking on a nice mix of dried fruit and fudge like a wonderful holiday bread. Sure wish Lagunitas had graced my neighborhood with enough of this for me to find some

Pure unadulterated Imperial Stout. Not barrel aged, no adjuncts. Reminds me of FIS, just more boozy. Bet this will age fantastically.

This was awful for me. Tried to muscle it down because of the price on Tavour, but ended up drain pouring. Really hope you’re liking it more than me!

Really appreciate labels like this. They are super attractive to me. I like how it is clean, neat, simple but sharp, regal, and you can figure out what is going on. I don’t get so many of the labels out there. I guess that is one reason why I always enjoyed the old BCBS labels. I always have found them so regal.
