Good day BAs! 46 degrees F and sprinkling, so typical fall weather here on the tundra of NW PA. Nothing exciting going on - except got an unexpected dividend from my retirement so my trip to Munchen in March is covered, if I decide to go.
    Today's New Breakfast Beer:

Hard to believe I've not had this previously but records don't lie (But liars record)! Anyway, thanks @Whyteboar and NBS BIF #16 for this! Craig, this may even be better than the BBA version! Rating 4.29, rDev -0.2%.

    Hello!

Drinking the flagship beer from St Bernardus, that is to say; every of their beers have been a banger for me.

    Cheers!

Good Day BAs and thanks @Ozzylizard for getting us off on the right track this morning. Lovely walk with dogs, 66° and sunny, taking my coffee break before cleaning the kitchen - BCBS (2017):

Bottled 9/7/17. Poured at 55°. Nose initially was a little fruity, but as beer continues to warm, the chocolate and bourbon take center stage. Slight oxidation. Still, a great breakfast beer as I try to drink the older beers in my cellar to make room for new arrivals later this week.

Cheers and have a great day y’all!

Thanks for opening the bar this morning @Ozzylizard ! Three bangers to open the thread, so I'm pulling out this one.

Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout (Vintage 2022)

This is the last approximate 9 oz of the 16.9 oz bottle opened Monday for my side-by-side review vs. Willittized. The light carbonation held up perfectly over two additional days capped in my refrigerator as has the nice aroma and taste.

Hoping to come across these via draft (or super discounted clearance sale) down the road. May return with a second beer later today, since this pour is just over a half bottle.

@dcotom - Are you planning on performing your WBAYDN Advent / Christmas Celebration posts this year? Hope the answer is in the affirmative.

Wowzers, we’re setting the bar high today already, another poor pun from me. Each of those beers are indeed World class.

I’ll add Cherry Chouffe to the party then, maybe not World class but a worthy one:

    G'day all!

It has been aboot 4 years since I drank this and at the time, I was not a fan. It's tasting pretty good this time around. There's some kind of "code" on the top of the cage:

Anyone out there with the proper decoder ring?

    Prost!

Edit: Ha! When I said that I was not a fan, I meant the regular Quad 9000, not this, the Calvados barrel aged one.

Drinking Utopias BA World Wide Stout. I heard it was a big beer morning. When I met Sam from Dogfish Head a while back, he asked me if I was going to age this? I said nope

Hoegaarden Wheat Beer. I'm doing an advent calendar beer thing. This is a pretty good wheat beer. Love unfiltered beer.

    Hey BA's

Whoa, hard to imagine it has been 81 years since the Pearl Harbor attack on this day in 1941...cheers to those who served in WWII and to those who lost their lives that fateful day....

Speaking of "big beers" - picked this up in a 4 pk Tuesday, that I am pretty sure was "mis-marked" at $9.89 for a 4 pk....awesome beer!

Emma and I did a nice 4 mile foggy misty hike on the Ohio + Erie Canal Towpath Trail close to home....pretty industrialized section, but still cool to walk!

Very much enjoyed my Goose Island poured into a Revolution glass. Time to flip the script with one of my three favorite Illinois year-round IPAs, this one the "Grandaddy of them all" at 10 years canned and counting,
