"Brewer" tag for brewery associated accounts?

With the way people act on here we prolly scared them away
I only know of KRBCEric, Terrence( bless him for putting up with all the angry old men) abd i think a Rev guy whos in the Midwest Rev Thread

 

I’m always interested in what industry folks have to say and especially so when they take the time to come to this platform to discuss a given topic. Therefore, anytime one of them identifies themselves, I “follow”. Looking through people who I follow, I believe there are at least 15 people who have identified themselves as an industry worker in the couple years I’ve been here. Not bulletproof but it’s the best way I’ve found to keep up on posts from those people. Cheers.

As far as civility goes this place must rate near the top. The pervasive humor wins the day as always anywhere.

 

Based on the brewers response on post that Todd posted, I disagree.
The Sierra Nevada thread full of whiny babies would run any brewer off.
Also with the amount of people complaining about the current beer scene I doubt any brewer would want to be here...shit even homebrewers rarely come here

I didn't wanna say that. Figured people would check Todd's post and figure it out, but yes Major L for the BA who tried to educate a brewer about a breweries brewing method where they worked

I'm surprised at the response . Instead of saying you fucked up and apologizing he did the opposite.

We had someone trying to share GOLD and the BAs post's caused him to deactivate .

I would think that that kinda stuff circulates in Brewers circles and causes more harm than good to this website, but at least y'all got me

That's what he does. He knows everything better than the pros. He loves to question people and put them on the spot, but he hates when it's done to him.

 

Pretty sure you’ve got me blocked but there’s alot of people on this site that fit those descriptors. Beer nerdom frequently gets blown out of proportion. We all intake a ton of information and drink a ton of beer and talk to a ton of people and that doesn’t necessarily translate to smarts. That’s why I don’t even pretend to play the part. Im here for knowledge, not to be the smart guy. Cheers.

 

I am a brewer, been doing it for a bit now and have also been on BA for awhile. Some of you know me. I enjoy this site to see what the customers are saying and what the trends may be. Also a great way to check to see if a beer name is taken or not. I left here for a couple years because frankly there were a bunch of dicks on here and I was over it but I came back. When people post stupid shit now being a dick I just ignore it. This is the reason 99.9% of us don't come on here. If there was a website where people could come on and bash what you do and what is your passion and what you work hard for in tough conditions you would probably never go on there again. My point? Be nice to each other and maybe take a second to think before you post some crazy shit blaming the brewer when you may not like the beer or find fault in it. Its three tier system and when the beer goes out the door we have no control over it. Mahalo all.
