How nice that my enjoyment brings us both happiness! I do hope that beer is resilient enough to withstand the insult which marshmallow provides it, and takes no offense to our happiness.

    Exactly.
Cheap and easy, but the price doesn't reflect either.

I can remember buying Off Color Dino S'mores 12oz bottles for around $3 circa 2015. Looks like this beer is now $6-7 for 16oz cans. Not barrel aged but at nearly 1/4 the price of some modern BA marshmallow stouts perhaps worth a try?

All this marshmallow talk is starting to remind me of when Beachwood changed the chips in their nachos a few years ago and there was probably 2-3 straight pages of commentary about it. Thankfully they were able to switch back.

That sounds entertaining. Our local Fat Heads stopped making potato chips around the pandemic and my mental state hasn't been the same since.

I just rated my first experience with Flesh to Stone blind on here. Afterwards I went to my review of Arcane Rituals to compare (being one of my all time favorite beers, while also being a barleywine by Bottle Logic, its base, no less). To my surprise I found my review came to the same exact weighted average despite entering totally different scores per attribute. And it couldn't be any more poignant.

At the very least I expected this to be slightly marred by introducing actual fruit, as I admit I am inclined to feign aversion to "impurity," but I can't decide which one is better. Magnificent.

I’m a huge fan of Arcane and Details & Dialects, however, I didn’t grab any Flesh to Stone originally, assuming it would add too much sweetness. More often than not I greatly prefer non-adjuncted BW. Now I see I’m going to have to dip in and grab a bottle or three.

When they charge a certain price and people expect a certain quality why wouldnt 3 pages show up.
Kraft Jet Puffed is trash. Food coloring and artificial flavor in my beer? Go fuck yourselves. I dont even want .00001 % of that.
Ingredients: CORN SYRUP, SUGAR, DEXTROSE, MODIFIED CORNSTARCH, WATER, CONTAINS LESS THAN 2% OF GELATIN, TETRASODIUM PYROPHOSPHATE (WHIPPING AID), NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR, BLUE 1

If they do any Voodoo Collabs again maybe I'll buy one to try myself. Everyone I sent Deprecophobia and Somniphobia to loved them.

12 ounce BL bottles would be cool one day. Or or people fine with doming $25 big boys? I think of a brewery like Central Waters - that’sa nice!

The 500ml are basically pints, easy to split with one other person and also not even difficult to solo, but not a lot to share. And since they already can beers in 16oz cans, that doesn't really solve the problem you're looking to either. With 12oz they'd probably have to start dealing with additional packaging. Doesn't seem likely.

As long as the prices do not increase and increase like with some breweries, I’m very OK with the format, especially since it is in a bottle and not a can. Personally, all the beers I have had from them are too much for me to want to solo in one sitting. But the format (and quality) allows me to split these over 2-3 days without an issue. So, that’s perfectly fine, and an enjoyable way to consume the beer (for me).

I'm good with the current 16.9 fl oz format because, to me, it's a much easier commitment than your standard Bruery 25.5 oz or even MT 22 oz bottle.

Am I sharing this BL bottle with multiple people? Great, I can pretty easily rip through 4-6+ bottles depending on the audience and make a nice dent in my beer stockpile.

Am I having it on my own? I can pour half and cap it for tomorrow, or nurse the bottle over several hours and not feel like complete garbage the next morning.

Also, they fit better in my beer fridge than the other aforementioned breweries (to name only a few).

Not sure if anyone else has had this experience but the walnut bottle openers that were from WoL a few years back preserve the integrity of the cap very well, so you can easily recap the Stasis beers with a relatively snug fit.

No more bbq nachos period. Gone are the days of bbq menu at Long Beach. In with a new menu. :sob: Haven’t gone yet.
