It was the beer that got me into imperial stouts so it holds a place in my heart as well

 

I think I'm just starting to grow out of my pastry stout phase so Parfait probably isn't meant for me. Much prefer a non adjunct BA stout. Just hard to pass up on a SP stout

 

100% with you on the non-adjunct barrel-aged stouts. been my preference for a while, and would take BBT over most Derivations.

the parfait series has been fun though. and as good as 4 is, i’ll be damned if that can doesn’t need to be split 4 ways.

 

My inner fat kid loves me some dessert beers. But they are also starting to blend together like non adjuncts.

 

To me the spice was even stronger than Christmas bomb. Go buy a $3 can of imperial stout, add a ton of cinnamon and nutmeg, and you'll get the same thing. I loved 8 Candles at the cellar anniversary and I'll gladly have any other non-adjuncted stout or barleywine they do, but the last few adjuncted ones I've had were not that great.

 

Any of you wonderful folks have a BdP Gin barrel available to trade? Non spruce tips version. I'm hoping to do this IP and not having luck in the trading forums. I can swap you the spruce tip version or a fra-gee-lay, or I can come up with something.

There’s the ryewine we’ve been talking about for a year

 

“rye-heavy” barleywine.

 

makes sense it’s ready to go, as a portion of it went into Continuance b3 (although only the port barrels apparently).

this bottle is blended from rye, bourbon and CA ruby port barrels that aged for 28 months.

 

First comes the release, next comes the Burrito ISO: Weller 12 posts. Let the games begin!
