Howdy. Just wanted to post some BlackStack love from St. Paul MN. Hands down my favorite beer that I can get here in Wisconsin. Anyone else been enjoying them lately? I hope so. Cheers!

Yeah, it would be great to see a new run of lagers from BlackStack. They do a nice job.

Is Mat Waddell still there? I was thinking they would start producing wild ales and saisons once he joined as a brewer, but apparently not? I think his creations at Wild Mind were really good, and then he left.

Mat is still there from what I know.

A collaboration called Flight Patterns is the last one he was involved with.

I would buy way more Blackstack if they would date their cans (and dramatically reduce the amount of releases that are 9%+ ABV IPAs)

Yeah their new 5th anniversary beer out today is a 12% + Quad IPA. As others said above more Lagers please, and 6 -7 % IPA’S.

How about some non alcoholic IPAs?

I've bought one from Lupulin recently and it was great! Other than that though, nothing local. Athletic Free Wave, Untitled Art Juicy, and Brewdog Hazy AF. All great beers with no alcohol/ethanol. Some great porters from all of them as well.

Would just like to see more local stuff....
