Good morning/afternoon BAs! Thanks @dcotom for today’s fine opening; I look forward to your holiday posts every year!

The dogs were fine on their brisk 34° walk this morning…home and heating up with some fresh coffee - KBS:



Bottled 9/13/22. Poured at 52°. I already feel warmer. I covered the Golden Mound hedge (it easily freezes/sustains damage) yesterday evening, ad well as the flowering Hibiscus, in the front yard.



I don’t think we got a hard freeze here last night, but better safe than sorry.

I finished the last of my holiday shopping yesterday (including beer run), so I plan on spending the weekend at home, inside. Cheers and have a Happy Christmas Eve y’all!

G'day and Merry Christmas Eve all!

I'm drinking another Melvin Magnus Double Barrel. An English Barleywine. As per the brewery's description:

Barleywine brewed with Maple sugar and aged in Bourbon and Cognac barrels.

A portion of this beer was first aged in 20 year old Remy Martin XO barrels before being transferred into Blanton's Bourbon barrels. The other portion of this blend was aged in Willet and Woodford Reserve Bourbon barrels.

Magnificent beer!

Isn't Grinch Kool Aid Fizz designed for roast turkey? I'm curious: Is Lollipop Forest dry, semi-dry, or sweet?

NBW cross-post. @eppCOS, I completed a Hoth 10-K this morning. -20-degree Fahrenheit wind chill. @Beersnake1, all week I looked forward to running six miles under harsh conditions, then experiencing this beer. I needed to earn this moment. It was so worth it!
