    Been a lurker for years here but just signed up to get more active and learn. My brother is a brewer, started at home and now runs a brewery. Before I had his beer I thought all beer tasted horrible and was just something to drink at a party in college. Now I have learned that good beer is delicious and so fascinating. The blends and recipes are endless. I prefer the darker, stronger brews. Love Stouts and Porters. I like Nitros for the creamy feel.

    Older brothers can be wise in their years. Your's sounds like he's in that category, and it's worked out well for you. Buy the guy a beer the next time you see him and say 'thank you.' :slight_smile:

    Which brewery does your brother run? There's been a lot of good breweries popping up in Iowa.

    Albia Brewing Co. in South Central Iowa. Was a restaurant and brewery for years. That was great for our family but a lot of work for him and his wife. Now he just brews and sells to stores. Rents out the restaurant and top floor.
