    Good day BAs! Thanks @Shanex for starting today's thread! @Peach63 - Do the lake effect snows balance the mild summers near the lake? Asking for a friend.

    Today is a personally important day to me, one I've been putting off because of the seasonal demands (Shopping and decorating and wrapping, oh my!). We get bands of lake effect snow from Lake Erie, but this year has been pretty light - windy with bare patches in my yard and driveway and an occasional of drift of up to 4 Inches (20 cm for you Euro-brothers). Chilly (6 F , -14C) but otherwise mild thus far. So today's non-sequitur New Breakfast Beer is my 3000th review:

    Bottled 11/10/22. Poured at 52°. Very roasty this fresh. Had a quiet Christmas with just Mrs. Z, and ate too much as usual. No plans today other than stay inside and read. Hopefully everyone had a great Christmas, Cheers and Happy Boxing Day y’all!

    breakfast beer. really liking this variant. tons of maple on the nose, especially when i smell the bottle after it’s opened. restrained, but drying cinnamon. even less bourbon and vanilla. damn good ale. cheers!!
