If the acidity was dialed down on their fruited offerings, I really would look forward to many more of them. The white labels are generally delicious but every time fruit is added, it's a crap shoot.

this is a winner. low acidity, subtle earthy hops and oak. i’ve really been enjoying all the dry-hopped saisons they’ve been doing. cheers!!

I saw on the google doc that there was a new blend of Fencerow released during the cellar anniversary. Is/was there a timetable for a larger scale release???

Hey St Louis Advocates - I may swing by for NYE. Looking to firm up timing, but will likely have an hour or two on the 30th or 31st, and would love to split some bottles if anyone else is around!

Since we are now to the last week of 2022, lets see what peoples top 3 SP beers of the year were. I didn't try a ton of the onsite stuff, and I might be in the minority but the DBDs and D16 weren't in my top.
    Mine:
    1) DB Generational
    2) BBT 2022
    3) Parfait B4

    Rye BBT22
DBD - Double Willett Double Vanilla
    Oude Fermier v20

i think the dry-hopped versions of Marietta Ave and Le Sasionnier were excellent as well as Far Afield and SF NZ Cascade. hope they continue with the dry-hopping treatment. Tete v20 also amazing.

    cheers!!

man i had BBt22 on xmas eve and i wasn’t sold. it was good but seemed like it needed another 6-8 months. Rye BBT22 however was damn near perfect and i’m having trouble even holding onto my 2nd bottle.

love that the one consistent is DB Gen too, which i thought brought absolutely nothing compared to reg Gen (besides the same price tag for half the liquid).

going to have to revisit that one soon.

See, I had rye bbt when it was on site for ever and I just didn't care for it. I think I don't necessarily care for the rye in the beer (rye barrels are fine), but thats the nice thing, it's all personal preference and subjective.

That’s so interesting, since I really wasn’t a fan of Generational when I opened mine, but was completely blown away by DB Generational. Oh the subjectivity of taste!

My top 2 from 2022 by far were:
    1) DB Generational
    2) Rye BBT

Special nod goes to MJK, which although released a year prior, I finally got to try at the Invitational, and all hype/expectations were exceeded. That was about as close to a perfect beer that I’ve ever tried.
