    i almost did 4 once:flushed:.
I know you would never say a thing like that. I said it for the people watching in case they didn't know our feelings for North Coast.

I've seen people talking about that IPA. Its.called Pacific Magic.
I can't wait to open my 2013 BBA Old Stock on NYE. Cant. Fucking. Wait. It'll be the oldest Old Stock I've ever had .

Well, the 19 Napa Parabola is gone. It was good. It's gotten very vinuous. Blind, I could have been convinced it was an unusual red wine.

Now I'm dipping into a local stout aged in Cabernet (and Bourbon) barrels. Eel River Brewing - Unkindness: Chapter III. I like this one. This is my second can. It's boozy, it's got a nice dark fruit red wine character, it's medium bodied. It's unique and I enjoy it thoroughly

I have one Napa Parabola on a shelf. Sad to hear it’s gotten MORE vinous. Note to self: Don’t buy any more wine barrel aged stouts.

IMO All FW Beer is perfection fresh...once regular Parabola passes 2 years it's nowhere near as good so i can imagine what that Napa one turned into.

This shit is kinda a let down. Haven't had this one in a while ,but imo after the 2019 version the rest are just underwhelming.
If this wasn't in the wax bottle i wouldn't know it was Barrel Aged . I don't seek out Barrel Aged Fremont stuff anymore(unless people want.me.to send them some) and this reminded my .
This lacks any barrel characteristics. its cola dominant and that's about it.
I used to love Fremonts Stout Barrelled stuff but their pricing deters me now .
Base Dark Star will alwas be top tier though
    I give this 3/5

I thought this one was pretty goo. I definitely agree on the 2019 statement. Of the 4 Fremont stouts I’ve had, the 2019 anniversary was in a league above the rest.

Found a pack sitting so I grabbed it. Would love to find another. Just a really good stout. Thick body and no flavoring added. Yes please. Price is creeping up to over $18, not much more than Old Rasputin. Still better than going out or a local 4x16 stout.

    Enjoy

This was fine enough, but seemed way too thin given the high ABV (14.2%).

Anyone placing bets on how many posts until someone posts a coffee beer?

… or on a related note, until someone makes a post stating that they don’t need flavored stouts because the beer they’re drinking shows how much flavor can come from just the “base four ingredients”… and they’re drinking a bourbon barrel aged beer

I figured @Giantspace wanted to be sedated.

Enjoying a world class beer from an outstanding trader and Advocate Tomas @Resistance88 , thanks again! Given the quality of the FW BA program for the price per ounce FW is arguably the best value out there!
    Cheers!

.....IMHO.....BA Russian Imperial Stouts don't seem to be as good as "American" Imperial stouts when they go into barrels...is it the hops?

BBIS 2022 from Reuben's Brews in Seattle. An imperial stout featuring oats and British specialty grains, aged in a blend of bourbon barrels. Comes in at 14% ABV. Compliments of @kemoarps in BIF 16. This one is a bit hot, but a great one if you like bourbon-forward stouts. Also getting some dark chocolate, roasted malts, and a hint of toffee. Cheers!

It's not one of the best BA Imperial Stouts, but it's definitely the best value BA Imperial Stout.

Tell me more about them pumpkin seeds.....also why use decaf coffee? I dont believe significant caffeine would cone through the brewing process.

Also I appreciate your dedication of the beer to @Resistance88 !
