KBS a shelf turd! Not here - any on the stores' shelves end up in my reefers - I don't feel like one every day but when I do, I can't drink just one. KBS and Schlenkerla Marzen are almost always on hand at my house. These are so frequently my afternoon/evening beer that I rarely post them.

I actually got beer'd out pretty early yesterday and just switched to h20 so i didn't finish my Gouden Carolus, so i'll be doing so now getting ready for the Cuse bowl game.

Severance Tedious Fool Imperial Stout, 8.7% ABV. Pours black with a two-finger medium-brown head that left little lacing. Nose is vanilla, coffee, and chocolate. Taste is roast malt and vanilla, slightly sweet, moderately bitter. Dry mouthfeel, overall very good.

A little post-run Guinness 0 placebo, to ease into the day.
Had to take yesterday off from alcohol to make sure I got enough sleep. It helped.
8 mile ice-capades run at ez pace today - beautiful out there - but took some motivation to get out. 33 weeks until Leadville 100. Not that I'm counting.
I'll be back with the REAL sauce later... just need some time to work.

Brew Gentlemen - General Braddock's IPA

I love the simplicity of this can's design and the tall, skinny, format (it's 12oz). Lovely hazy IPA, with fruitiness, dankness, and, yes, bitterness. Delicious.
