    My usual New Year's Eve dinner: T-Bone steak with potato wedges. Saint Lamvinus pairs incredibly well with it. Only about two hours left of 2022 here, I sure hope 2023 turns out better... Also, this is the first time since 2020 that Fireworks are allowed again, this is gonna be "fun".

    If you’re gonna do pastry sours, this is how. Bianca Godfeather by Omnipollo, made with blueberries, blackberries, pineapple, milk sugar, vanilla, maple syrup and marshmallows. Bonkers.

    Looks good! And excellent service like that is hard to find.

    Donker would be a good choice, but I never see it and rarely ever see any other Kasteel
    for that matter

    I took a nap, which is very unusual for me, and am waiting for some friends to arrive for dinner. I'm enjoying Carpetbagger, a DIPA from Deep River Brewing in North Carolina that my daughter and future son-in-law included in my Christmas beer box. I like it although the IPAs tonight will be better for sure. New Year's cheers!

    I got a wonderful Christmas present off someone,
    Covid. But thanks to all the Jabs I have my full sense of smell & taste, not much of a cough & the worse thing is muscle ache.

    In fact, you could say my symptoms are…..
    Mild
    But if I’m not up to staying up for the next 2 hours twenty minutes, Happy New Year to all you BAs
