[IMG] Burial, “Massacre of the Innocents “ IPA. I split a premade mixed case of Burial with my buddy Bill, which this was part of! Absolutely amazing!

...Scrimshaw - still one of my old school favorites - North Coast knows how to brew classic, long-term beers...

Found this relative rarity on a recent trip to Colorado. Piney af and easy drinking.[IMG]

...soothe that cough with a mild, low-ABV lager / pilsner...the fire water can wait...just my personal take on things..

Gouden Carolus Christmas. In a Corsendonk glass. My first of this years batch, and it's weird and outstanding. Long story short, all the attributes of a (10%) Belgian Christmas, but the finish has a taste of...peppermint? Not sure what's going on here but this is my fave of the Xmas seasonals. Sorry St. Bernardus and Scaldis Noel, but hail the new king.
Happy New Year to all you out there. People say NYE is the night for amateurs. Here's to the pro crowd.

Lager and fire water it is.. Surprisingly I don't have any craft pale lagers atm. Idk what the hell is going on with that. I'm slipping in that department atm.

The Veil and 3 Sons The Return. Pretty disappointing effort considering the firepower of both these breweries

Been about a week since I last checked in here. Traveling back to Houston after vacation with my family in Illinois (blizzard and negative 20 degree temps and all, my pupper did not like that ha). As usual, stopping for the night in Little Rock.

Finally able to have a seat at Brood & Barely. The third time is the charm ha. This is in downtown North Little Rock, which is a very nice little area. I would highly recommend this little strip if in the Little Rock/NLR area. Its Flyway Brewing's Gastropub, which is right around the corner from the brewery

First up is their Hefe with the Crispy Blue Chips. Basically house made Kennebec Chips and blue cheese, I like

Next is their Robust Porter and a big bowl of mussels...yep the food here is great.

To close out is their Rum Barrel Aged Barleywine.

The beers here are decent and good, but I have never been the biggest fan of them. The Brood & Barely gastropub/restaurant is very good and crowded as all get out. So they are doing good stuff. I'll certainly come back when I travel through town again, I just wish the beers were maybe one tier/step up then they are, if that makes sense. I'll be adding my reviews for these soon...
