End of Year Thread Lockdown Protocols (2022)

It's almost time to say goodbye to 2022, which means it's also time to say goodbye to threads that focused on 2022. You know, the ones dedicated to a brewery, region, activity, and whatnot with "2022" in the thread title.

And here's what you need to know:

• On Saturday, December 31, I'll be automagically locking threads down at 4pm PST/7pm EST 6pm PST/9pm EST.
• After this mass lockdown, you're free to create a new thread for 2023.
• Thread Guidelines:
  • These threads stick around for an entire year, so we expect all thread starters to kick them off properly.
    
  • Please add "(2023)" at the end of the thread's title.
    • For brewery threads, make sure you include some form of informative intro to kick off the thread. Feel free to have fun with it.
    • You don't need to replicate information found on the brewery website or social media (like hours of operation or pandemic protocols), but you should include a link to its listing on BA, website, and social media.
  • For post a pic-style threads (hauls and whatnot), lead by example; include a pic.
  • For annual tasting/review threads, include the guidelines for participation in the thread + a tasting/review. Again, lead by example. Setting expectations will greatly help with participation.
• Failure to follow these guidelines may result in the thread being removed by the mod team. Don't take it personally.
• If a thread gets locked by mistake, please report it for the mod team to review and unlock if necessary.

Nearly 400 threads specific to 2022 have been locked down; a bit early so I cook dinner, can enjoy NYE, and whatnot.

Feel free to start new threads for 2023 now. Report any threads that may have been missed so the mod team can append "(2022)" to the thread title and lock 'em down, as well as any threads that may have been locked prematurely with a reason why.
