    Hoping to visit for first time this year. For the BA releases like this, do they typically have any public sale / draft release?

    They announce public sales on instagram so I recommend setting up alerts for their posts. Sometimes they have a few bottles available to go at the brewery on the first day of bottle pickup but that varies a bit.

    in all seriousness this is delicious. i gave it a 4.71. very barleywine-esque with dark fruits, toffee, caramel and really well done barrel treatment(s).

    Aged in a select Stagg Jr. bourbon barrel, this beer expresses a well spirited barrel presence. Fruit leather liveliness gives it buoyancy against the stickier classic notes of honey, vanilla, caramel and rolo. A beautifully balanced and refined entry in our Bere series.

    Bere : 3 pickups start on 1/27 so I would imagine the public sale will be around the 23rd if it follows the same as the Harbors release. Gives ample time to find a proxy. Speaking on proxies, it has seemed much harder to find people in that area willing to help out. Curious why that is? I put up a post asking for proxy help and got nothing but crickets. Had to resort to IG to find someone which is not the ideal option in my book. Maybe its just a BA thing?
