I'll take the under on that. Not wasting any time on Tuesday, for me this is the most anticipated release since... uh, maybe ever.

Good calls. Haven't had one in a good year or two, but X was so good. Might be one of the best beers I've ever had going into it with pretty low expectations. Just a spectacular beer that I wasn't expecting a lot from. Man was I wrong.

    Mmm….Peanut butter and Rye.

I’ll stick to my season ticket. To early in the year to be dropping $60 on a 4-pack. It’s only January!!

As @HouseofWortship noted online release to public. Proxies allowed, limit two 4 packs per at $60 each.

Truly living up to your name!*

*This is a joke, I'm buzzed, ask as many questions as you like, the Rev FUPA Godz are friendly. Basically, it will be a bot-fest on Tuesday 1/17 sometime around 9am. Watching Rev's twitter / insta / FB feeds that morning will be your best chance to grab some. Good luck!

    * I was looking for the  option on your post ... mostly because there is ZERO chance DBVSOJ will see distro. :joy:

    * The smart and informed @tiffman posted above it's an online sale, along with the time and date.

    * Anyone can be a Rev Rewards "member".
The terrific @HouseofWortship meant Season Ticket Holders, which are the folks that spent $360 in July to guarantee themselves one 4pk of every release in 2022-23 release season. (this was new in 2022)

    * The public sale is open to all, and as @Jagrmaister noted, Season Ticket Holders (not just all Rev Rewards members) can get an additional two 4pks to the one they already paid for.

New Hero 12pk is pretty cool.
    I love juke
    I love Hip Hop
    Anti hero is a classic
soul hero is cool, but not sure it’s something id ask them to bring back

hip hop hero is really good. It’s hazy, but it’s that hazy light that some don’t appreciate. That Son of Juice, Hazy Hero hazy. I’ll say this, it’s as good as hazy light gets. I can pick out the Nelson easily. It’s a beautiful, modern hop combo. Insanely drinkable. I don’t have hazy kegs in my basement, but something like this would get consideration because it’s pleasant and repeatable.

And if you are @Jagrmaister , and you purchased 3 season tickets, you can purchase….how many extra 4-packs? :joy:

I think you're spot on, they allowed proxies for this release (unlike VSOJ) as extra insurance. I'm pretty sure these will sell out pretty damn quick.

In terms of pricing, splitting into 2-packs may be a sensible thing to do, but that also means adding a new form of packaging just for this one release. And if this beer sells out quick, which it will, then it doesn't make sense to create extra accommodations and build out new packaging lines.

To add to this, Phase Three, More, and several others price their bombers at $30-35 to great success. This is basically the same price per oz, except that this Rev beer is double barrel-aged.

At the end of the day, season ticket folks actually got a great deal on this beer, whatever the cost per 4-pack comes out to. Especially if you count the Rev rewards points that went toward your account for free food or extra beers or whatever.

That’s a terrible argument and people need to stop making it. They don’t charge by the oz, they charge by the dollar and in your example the product is half the price of Revs to purchase a quantity of 1 product. If they only sold KBBS by the truckload for $10,000, but the price per oz was comparable you aren’t going to say it’s a fair price because it’s priced similarly to other stous per oz…

I find it odd that people are ok with paying $30 for 2 12oz cans of beer, but $60 for 4 is where the line is drawn. Especially when talking about a beer that was aged for years, then blended and then dumped into additional barrels to age for another 18 months.

I'm another vote for believing they will sell out ASAP. I've actually sat out Deep Woods for a couple years now only grabbing singles here and there of stuff that's getting distro. But goddammit they got me with this one. Even though I hold the heretical stance that VSOJ is vastly overrated I still want to try this one and Boss Ryeway. I plan to proxy up and have my botnet fully operational by 9am on the 17th. You guys will be lucky to get anything by the time I'm done in there...
