    Try being in the hardcore punk scene lol, I see a lot of straight edge people around. Admittedly they're not making up a majority of abstainers as they're part of a relatively small underground group, but they definitely contribute to these statistics

    I'm not surprised that beer has been on a downward trend in popularity over the years.

    That being said, I still see 20 somethings crush lots of beers when I go to bars and sporting events. Mostly American and Mexican macros, not a large percentage of craft.
