    In VT for a conference. Was able to grab a couple dunkel’s and a single of the Czech and the Helles. Excited to try my first Notch beers.

    Which specific beers are you talking about (other than their Dunkel, which they only have one of)?

    Salem Lager is their only Helles in distro I believe...and they have a number of Czech beers.

    Didn’t find any of them in Burlington, but found them at Craft Beer Cellar in Waterbury. One of the reasons I went there was I expected them to have something from other posts in this Ne forum.

    Notch does not make a beer simply called "Czech Pils." I'm guessing you got The Standard, which is a Czech Pils.

    Any lunch recommendations these days? Been to Gulu enough and the derby when everywhere else was slammed.

    You’re correct. I didn’t realize the name was “The Standard”. I just thought that was the marketing, as in, this is “The Standard Czech Pils, no frills, just the standard, perfect and amazing”. I gravitated to the fact that it was a Czech Pils rather than that “The Standard” might be the name of another/better descriptor (probably not more than 1 beer that has obvious Czech Pils marketing on the front that is in cans and distro?).

    Pretty excited to try these.

    It’s already on draft so the cask will not impact crowlers.

    I confirmed with Notch that Continental Blockade will be draft and crowlers only.
