Hasn’t been posted/up for sale yet, my guess is around $22-25

Having the Boss Jacket now at the Whole Foods. It’s not as sweet as DBVSOJ, still on the sweeter side, but still dry. Weird but in a good way. Im glad I didn’t pay $60 4pack for it though.

Tavour was… an interesting play. I guess proxies were already allowed when it went for sale at Rev. Now others around the country have the same opportunity just need to download the app and can skip a proxy.

    That's a fair price considering.

My question is why? It doesn't need to go to Tavour. Revolution already knew it would sell out instantly

    Boss was $40, not $60.

It's probably part of moving other less popular stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't continue to. But I can't complain seeing as I've gotten all my Rev thru there. I mean the 2021 stuff was being sold off at a discount a month ago. Give a little DBVSOJ and get then to move the other stuff. May be a better deal than they get bids distributors since Tavour tends to mark more. But since the 2022 stuff moved so well maybe they don't need help with the lower ticket stuff. Or this release will prompt more season ticket buying.

I'm thinking it's not a question of moving inventory. Actually, it might be about moving inventory. I know Tavour sells/has sold other DW beers. They might sell other Rev beer too. I dunno as I do not use it. But they do have a business relationship with Tavour. And Tavour certainly opens up a new channel for even more customers to purchase Rev beers, even outside of Rev's distribution footprint. Perhaps the DBVSOJ was a way of Rev thanking Tavour for their continued support. I'd guess the majority of DBVSOJ was a combination of Tuesday's sale / season tickets and a small percentage went to Tavour. Maybe Rev will even offer season tickets through Tavour at some point, who knows. I don't have an issue with it if it means Rev is able to sell more beer which affords them the opportunity to keep producing quality beer (including DW) at reasonable (imo) prices. Yes, the prior sentence was admittedly my inner Fanboy FUPA

I snagged two off Tavour. Coincidentally I’ll be flying into ORD this weekend with the intention of driving to Decorah to pick up TG DB Rye Assassin. I wouldn’t have minded grabbing my own allotment of DBVSOJ at Rev had I paid attention to the online drop, but I missed it. Distractions. So I’m pumped I could grab two cans off a polarizing online app that skips the hassle of me having to physically pick it up while shipping it to my front doorstep in Frisco, Fucking Texas.

I guess I can chime in as someone completely out of area (Austin, TX) who has only had the opportunity to try Revolution because of Tavour.

As a result, I've been able to try:
    • Cafe Deth
    • Coconut Deth
    • Dark Mode
    • Deth's Tar
    • Deth by Raspberries
    • Gravedigger Billy
    • Maple Jacket
    • Ryeway to Heaven
    • Straight Jacket
    • Strawberry Jacket
    • Vanilla Deth
    • VSO Dark Mode
And today was fortunate enough to snag 2 DBVSOJs.

I can totally understand why someone who is local would be annoyed that Rev kept some of their rarer beers for those out of area (through Tavour), but I also am extremely thankful that they've given me the opportunity to try all these wonderful beers despite being quite out-of-area.

It's also only recently that the VSO beers have become available so I'm not sure it's a trend that will continue. Historically Tavour has otherwise only had their more commonly available offerings as far as I'm aware.

I think sometimes we forget how much of a bubble we live in. Yes there’s some people in the know all over the country, but I don’t think Rev has the cachet many of us here believe they’ve earned. Instant sellouts and putting this on Tavour get people talking. I don’t blame Rev one bit.

How quick did it sell out on Tavour? Showed up at 8:35, noticed the alert at 8:50 and it was sold out.

Not trying to derail the riveting conversation, but is anyone here located in the Peoria area? Fox Pub is having a Rev preview party but I won't be down there until tomorrow for a conference. Do you think the kegs will kick or do you think there will be some left tomorrow afternoon?
