Next up is a Swamp HEAD Brewing 10-10-10 Imperial IPA, 10% and as full bodied as a Hopslam. Off tomorrow so trying to hang out for some bourbon and a beer later....

Fun fact: What is now Ghost Baby was originally built as Champion Brewery in 1850. We're 4 stories underground in old lagering caves.

 

Heavy Riff Happy Jack. It’s a local pumpkin ale that is so so. It was a bit harder to find new pumpkin beers this past season and I hope that changes a bit this fall.

 

About to heat up some left over pork fried rice I made last night.

I loved that group when they were around, Maria McKee could wail.

 

I probably enjoy this IPA more than its more notorious big beer brother, especially when it’s really fresh - and this qualifies (canned 1/10/23).

Citra/Mosaic hopped beers are definitely my beer nerd “sweet spot,” and this exceptionally dank, supremely flavorful beer is “Exhibit A” why that is the case.

I could drink this until it came out my ears. Absolutely love it.







#2 will definitely be straight from the can to determine if (yet again) John Kimmich is correct.

 

I am laughing my sorry ass off because I thought the same! Seems you and I are too much alike. My condolences.
