    Soon to be released: Black Note Stout which is a blend of Double Cream Stout and Expedition Stout and aged in bourbon barrels. The last that I saw was the release date is supposed to be part of Kalamazoo Craft Beverage Week, January 13-21 https://www.discoverkalamazoo.com/craft-beverage-week/ but @TheeWarPig reports it will be on Jan 22nd which is outside the dates of KCBW. No further details on purchase limit. Monitor social media is my recommendation.

    Does the general store do online sales for beer? As in I can pick up later? I thought they did but poking around I can’t find it if so. Wanted to secure an ice box and pick up next weekend for roll out the barrel-thanks!

    I've been looking for that feature ever since they redesigned the website, but nada. Maybe we need a new breakout of COVID. (Just kidding!) I may be there at mid-week and can pick it up for you and meet you at Roll Out the Barrel. I'll DM you once I know my schedule for the week. You going to try to get Black Note too?

    Im going to try for Black Note. Should be fine but I have a 15 month old which makes things impossible to commit to. But that’s the plan! Either way I’d find a way to get it from ya. Appreciate the gesture. Someone told me they only had 20 cases so I’m not sure if there’s any left.

    Is this bells jumping the shark? Or does the beer still feel true to bells stout ethos. I know there is some controversy over if pastry stout can still feel like proper beer, but I’ve seen a few breweries pull it off

    If you do make it in I'd appreciate any insight into the availability of ice box for the weekend also. I'm assuming the BA DCS is long gone at this point.

    I just called the General Store before going and was told that Icebox Cake was gone last Sunday so I won't be going there today.

    I didn't see your post or I would have asked about the BA Double Cream Stout. Maybe I'll get there later this week and can get some if it's there.

    Thanks for checking! Bummer that it was such a small batch. Don't get any of the DCS for me. I was less excited for that but would get it if I saw some. I figure if they do still have it, then there will probably still be some this weekend.

    I'm done waiting in line for beer in 2023 so I'll be passing & as a local I'll hope they refill the General Store on Tuesday like they've done in the past. If they don't then I guess I just miss out & will be stuck drinking Rev stouts
