    Members at WaxWings have the ability to purchase before then general public so that’s where the details of Bere:3 are coming from. And the anticipated public sale date is just based on the way things have played out for a while now. Not a guarantee but an educated guess.

    The best way to hit public releases is to set instagram alerts and be quick :slight_smile:

    Surprised there hasn't been an announcement for Bere:3 yet. Is there a possibility that it was bought out by members? Is the current pickup date still 1/28?

    I was a bit surprised nothing has popped up for a general sale yet as well... I'm not aware of any other releases that sold out during the member presale but who knows, I guess.

    The original message to members had Bere:3 pickup starting tomorrow (1/27) and we haven't received any information on that changing.

    I'm beginning to think it may have on this one. Can't say for sure because I've never heard whether or not they have separate allotments reserved for members and general public. My proxy for the Harbors release was telling me that there was only 60 bottles of Bere:3 remaining when he ordered his members allotment. Not sure how/if those numbers are viewable or if he just knows somebody. Either way, if members bought it out thats pretty wild.

    Thanks for correcting the pickup date also! :wink:

    Yep my first missed release in a long time because I had my phone off to charge & when I turned it on there were 4 notifications. I immediately jumped online but 23 minutes was too late =(

    holy shit this was sweet but pretty good BBA barleywine. the DB Prison of Cognac i had fairly recently was much better. cheers!

    I feel like all of their Old Ales & BWs are somewhere between sweet & crazy sweet. I'm hoping they use more rye barrels to combat it or better yet dial back the sweetness a bit this year

    i’m fairly new to wax wings, but if someone told me this was a BA vanilla bean barleywine, i would have totally believed them.

    Up next… I’ve been loving the BW’s and old Ales but happy to see a stout on the horizon here. I prefer the subtlety of adjuncts in the Heights series but I’m sure this’ll be fun.


    The Saucefather | BARREL-AGED COCONUT TIRAMISU STOUT | 14%

    A long awaited barrel-aged iteration from the Boar Sauce line of beers. We couldn’t be more excited to share this with you!

    We chose a blend of 10 year Elijah Craig and Willett Family Estate barrels to play off the additions of coconut (both raw and toasted), Madagascar vanilla beans and Greenglass coffee. Decadent and smooth, balanced nicely by the barrel heat and subtle chocolate roast from the coffee.

    @Luscious_Malfoy, unless something has changed over the past year or so, you email [email protected] and make sure to include your name and email while asking to get added to the membership waitlist.

    And yes members can have proxies pick up for them unless otherwise stated on a sale.
