What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3749

Yeah, no disrespect to those who do, but if I'm not drinking beer it's club soda and that type of flavored seltzer. Zero calories and cheap

 

Busy day moving snow from sidewalks and driveways. Unwinding now with a Honey Lemon Light Wheat Ale from Leinenkugel's. 4% abv and 99 calories.

 

Enjoying a classic Smoked Doppelbock from Schlenkerla. This is well done, definitely mellower than the Marzen a lot of us have had.

My new Vespa ..

 

Just got out the gym and taking a stroll down the Legendary Broadway in Downtown Los Angeles.
Had to drop off some chefs knives for sharpening at The Ross Cutlery and decided to take advantage of the scenery
Shoutout to my friend/gym mate SpiceBodega Tanga for the 4 pack of Paperback yesterday.

 

I'm in Central MA - most of the good places are a 45 minute drive from here. We have Purgatory Chasm nearby but I still need to jump in the car and drive there.

 

Lol - it's a small world after all.... nice!

Yellow Rose IPA - Lone Pint Brewery

 

I have a bunch that were gifted to me. Four different 4 packs from Athletic brewing and one 4 pack from Sam Adams.

I am not a fan of NA beer either although one from Athletic (old pic) was not too bad. The one today from Sam Adams was not good at all even though it got decent reviews.

 

Next up, Victoria Lager. At $4 for a 6 pack, I couldn't say no. I usually get Victoria at my favorite local Mexican taqueria with a carnitas torta. There, I pay $3.75 for one, so 25 cents for 5 more seemed reasonable.

 

Love the street beer pictures. You inspire me when I get the chance.

 

I have a hard time paying the same amount for decent na beers that have likely sat on the shelf for ages. I need some alcohol like at least 2-3% abv or if it's na I want some THC in there. Id rather find a lower abv beer that tastes like a higher abv beer. We need more of them imo. Table beer come back!

If its not a alcoholic beverage it's clean water or tea for me. I drink a lot of water.

 

Gotta pop and pour it player. At least pop it.

 

First snow that kept since I believe Christmas. We had an Polar Vortex follow that one as well. A few of these left, pairing with Chinese takeout.

Staying in the Fatherland for round 2; Arcobrau Bavarian Lager Helles, which actually has a body reminiscent of a Marzen. Tasty nonetheless!

I have to be honest. I guess I drink beer primarily for the buzz along with the taste. The same logic probably applies to my affinity for wine and bourbon.

My first birthday beer tonight is going to be an IPA brewed by Maine Beer Company. MBC brews great IPAs.
