Throwback & Rerelease Appreciation (2023)

This thread is dedicated to all your favorite beers that, while once discontinued, have been reborn in 2023! We’ve seen lots of rereleases announced or planned for the year (Ruination, Wookie Jack, Summerfest, etc) so this thread serves as a compilation of all these nostalgic beers returning to shelves.

Are they as good as you remember? Do you notice a recipe tweak despite being marketed as the OG recipe? Are we seeing a new trend where brewers are actually hearing and heeding their fans pleas?!

My first revisit of the year is one I dreamed about and was very pleased to see return.



One of my first favorite seasonal beers, St Lu! I never really got into the menagerie of hazy/juicy IPAs from Odell, but have always held their standard IPA in high regard as it persisted through the haze craze. With St Lupulin back, I will certainly be giving more of my money to Odell.

I’m ecstatic to find this fresh. (5/10/2023 expiration, so canned on 1/10/2023) Floral, green citrus pith on top of hefty malt that stays tucked into the background. Maybe it’s haze-fatigue, but this is wonderfully more assertive than I remember. Finally, a return to glory days of IPA!
