Good morning buddy and happy Sunday BA's! Overtime complete so back home doing chores and watching the Rolex 24. Watched 0500-0700 on my phone with my boss at work. The hour from dark to dawn is awesome to see. Tim, we really liked the new Aviator, saw it on the Epic XL screen and it blew us away....cheers! Founders MMF is still amazing!

Firestone Walker Paraboloid 2022 - may have been the best in the box - glad I saved it for last!

Following up with Cinna Gram on French Toast stout with maple, cinnamon, and vanilla from Pigeon Hill in Muskegon. Excellent.

 

Squeeze Play IPA from MetroNOME:



Fairly standard American style IPA, a bit darker in color, with muted Citra and stronger Centennial



MetroNOME is among the newest taprooms in town (about a year old), and has a very, very cool concept: Proceeds go to helping underprivileged children with musical instruments and enrichment through musical instruction.

I like! A back to basics non-BA impy stout with no adjuncts such as chocolate, vanilla, coffee, etc. Tasty! Notes over on NBW. Cheers and have a great Sunday y’all!

 

Pre lunch beer and yes BA's, I talked the wife into pizza for lunch! Super nice 73 and sunny, on our way to 80 today. Fresh Freak of Nature (12/23/2002) is tasting great!

I usually take half of the food home, but I was under my target weight and felt like "rewarding" myself.


And finished it off with a shot of 15-year Glenlivet before heading home.

terribly saddened to hear of the passing of Tom Verlaine. Marquee Moon is an essential rock album, guitar album and one hell of a debut record. Adventure goes a different direction but is just as rewarding as its predecessor. i was lucky enough to see Television back in 2017 (i think?) and it was such a great show.

Another from Pigeon Hill, King Paczki. These raspberry fat rolls are a huge deal here due to the huge polish population. This beer is a decent representation although not the best dessert blonde ale PH has made in the last couple years. Cheers.

Rainy and cloudy here thus far.....yes, very sad to hear about Television frontman Tom Verlaine's passing yesterday.....their debut album came out in 1977 - like many others that year - big musical influence on this (then) young man....

 

I know it's a bit early... Having Dinner for lunch.
