Hey everyone, about time to kick off the thread on this new week. Still having dreary weather. The Duvel Tasting thread this past weekend turned out to be quite good and insightful.

    Leffe Blonde right now.

    Cheers.

Good Day BAs! Raiding my stash of beers in my basement cellar - KBS:

Bottled 4/22/21. Poured at 52° straight out of the cellar. Chocolate and green peppers. Past its prime but drinkable.

My youngest brother works today, so I’ll put away Christmas stuff and attempt some minor repairs. The forecast is for mid 40s and rain all day. A good day to stay inside and drink beer. Cheers and have a marvy Monday y’all!

A second coffee break with my “go to” WV grocery beer - Big Timber Brewing, Elkins, WV - Porter:

Roast malt, bittersweet dark chocolate and notes of coffee. Easy drinking and flavorful. Cheers from South Charleston WV!

Morning, BAs! Not that long ago, I was lamenting the lack of Willettized in my life, looking on with envy at my fellow BAs.

Fast forward a few weeks, and this is bottle #1 from four-pack #3. :grinning:

    Monday morning cheers!

    Morning!
After a low of -26° the sun is warming things up. It's -18° now and I'm getting my gear ready for a XC ski out to the lake, while enjoying another from New Belgium.

The pup and I got in a nice 3 mile walk in earlier, time to settle in with FA Cup coming up shortly. Then starting a book by a great author. Back to the grind tomorrow. Cheers!

    Hey Monday BA's

Crappy sleety and snowy day here....Emma and I did our usual 2 mile hike earlier - had the whole metropark to ourselves....love being retired!

This NA beer is soooo good! Love it!

trying to get motivated to go down in the basement and do some "boat stuff"....not happening so far! I need to build a centerboard and case for the latest additon (the CatsPaw dinghy)....need to find nice 1 x 3 white oak board to make up the board - have to research that as I am dubious about the big box joints having what I need.....hmmm

(not my boat, but same model - under sail)

Been helping friends move all morning, and it was about -10 when I got there. Now I'm home, it's time for a beer. I can't remember if @Roy_Hobbs sent it or @WunderLlama did.

Clear golden pouring beer with a 3 finger white fluffy head. Retention is decent with some lacing on the glass. There's a bit of carbonation rising in the glass.
Aroma is mostly a grainy biscuit aroma. There's also a faint hint of smoke as well.
The front of this beer is a malty biscuit flavor, that has a hint of sweetness. The back is where the smoke appears, and it's a lot stronger than the aroma let on, which is pleasing to me.
Body is light, crisp and clean. Smoke feeling lingers in my throat.
This is delicious and refreshing overall.

Hello BeerAdvocates. Happy Monday & thanx @Shanex for 3754. I didn't participate in the lovely Duvel tasting as timing was off and I've loads of brews in the stube that are attention starved including this little puppy: Spiral Mind The Gap ESB. Last can from the 4pk. Don't know if I'll ever see it again. So many beers nowadays are just a one-off. NTL it's really nice, like I think a traditional bloke from the English countryside would approve of it, and I'll pick up more if I see it. Not a lot of ESBs out on the shelves right now. Cheers!

I can't remember the last ESB I've seen anywhere, if I did I snap it right up. Great style. Similarly, @Victory_Sabre1973 post of a rauchbier, just don't see em, and I wish I did

Came across this in my beer fridge reshuffle the other day. This is about as close to N/A as i have and the first Radler i can recall having. I can see this would make for a nice lawnmower beer in the dead of summer!
    Cheers!

Cheers brother. A local brewer here that comes & goes, and I hope they find a home, is Hammerheart. They make excellent crafty smoked beers. In fact, I might just drive 200 miles to pick up a lode of their brews once they get 'er together.
