Those are only the ones that are currently uploaded. I meant the ones yet to come. People keep asking about categories that aren’t yet uploaded.

 

No amount of information or alerts will prevent repetitive questions and/or complaints. It’s just a fact of providing an online service.

 

What if we shared more information or tried some alerts or something?

 

What if @Todd was to lock this thread down, until all the updates are done. To prevent any further repetitive questions and tears?

Still peeved at the National Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1983, not that it stopped us much. Still remember the beer (legal age 19) liquor (legal age 21) Illinois law prior to everyone flipping (1986 was the deadline for states or they would lose their highway funds).

Wisconsin was always wiser than our (collective) dumbasses.

 

Louisiana resisted as well.

 

Somewhat related, since you just uploaded the add photos rewards.

When you are able to complete the process to allow us (or at first Society members) to upload photos directly onto BA without postimages/Imgur, will the BA photo requirements for beer web pages remain subject to the (IIRC) 150 X 200 size limitation?

I resized and posted a few in the past, but don’t recall how or perhaps no longer have the software, so I no longer add beer can/bottle photos when adding new beers. Hope the BA photo hosting will allow avoiding the current restriction, or at least broaden it to include most photos.

The new point system has given me incentive to consolidate my disparate rating filling system (phone, paper, spreadsheets) onto BA by year end. Have around 1,500 to add (most can be cut and pasted) into BA, plus Place ratings and photos.

It's only February 2, but this thread has the early lead for Best Thread of the Year!

 

I "grew up" in Wisconsin, and at the time I thought 18 was pretty restrictive. I started college at 16 and started hitting the bars with college buddies, tall enough that nobody ever carded me.

 

Looks you with above 1000 karma are absolute super contributors from now on, nice job! Todd already added for example photos, wonder how much is left, my guess is we are soon just waiting for what the new puba limit is

 

I just view this as I would a re-valuation of an inflationary currency.
