I don't think I'd heard of Widowmaker before, but lucky me that the hotel my wife booked for last Friday was right across the street. I thought the Twin Comet and Triple Comet were both really good and I especially liked the west coast Blue Wizard. Playing this back, I'm sure if I had been the one who'd booked the hotel she would have accused me of doing it as a scheme to visit one more brewery.

Went to Braintree last year on a nice summer afternoon. Very cool vibe down there. Looking forward to enjoying a fresh Blue Comet on tap in Brighton.
Ahhh haven’t thought about that area in many years. Worked at New Balance for a bit next to it years ago. Good spot to scoop all the after work folks. Although, fuck New Balance and their “return to work policy.” After telling my sister, who was a long time employee; she will never come back to the office and she can move to wherever she wants. Then recently trying to demand she has to be in again after moving. She enjoyed quitting for another job and them losing a tenured strong employee. Got a pay bump as well.
