Heat wave today - it's 33F (3 C) and the sun is shining upon us! We get more direct sunlight in winter than in the summer - then it rains or is generally overcast, much to the detriment of my garden. Today's New Breakfast Beer:



Too bad they wasted a potentially good wheat wine by adding so much stuff - aging in maple syrup bourbon barrels totally overwhelmed the wheatwine goodness. Rating 3.85, rDev -7.5%.

Good morning/afternoon BAs! This morning’s coffee - Weathered Ground Brewery, Cool Ridge, WV - BBA Struggle Street Breakfast Stout. A coffee stout aged in bourbon barrels:



No canning date. Purchased out of a cooler. Poured at 51°. Working on tasting notes, but this is sadly meh…I like this brewery, but…

A heat wave starts today and we may get up into the 50s! I have to go buy a few items for my winterizing projects, and something for dinner, then I’m gonna settle in and drink beer…Cheers from not so chilly South Charleston WV!

The Seed - Stay Awhile (English Dark Mild)

A lot more nutty than I'm used to from dark English milds, with dare I say some coconut notes present upfront. A very unique and interesting brew.
