looks like my “once a year hand tremors” are going to coincide with them moment I hand you a pour of Minutiae Reserve.

 

They addressed this today in that their current bottling line can’t handle 12oz or 500ml. They’re open/receptive to smaller formats but cant for now (they talked about hand filling BA Pressed variants and the trouble with that).

 

Excuses. They quite literally just put out a barrel aged beer in 12oz cans. Why not just go all in? You don’t see Half Acre or Revolution doing different formats for different beers, even DBVSOJ is canned.

 

I can't think of any good reason other than wanting to keep the stupid high prices. Would people pay $50 for 2 12oz cans? Or they'd have to charge $30/16oz can to keep same margins.

 

I lost Double Minutaie TWICE!

If I count my wife's entry, my household got to lose 3 times on one beer! ‍

 

I could see a brewery liking the prestige of a wax sealed bottle. I'm sure it looks better for marketing and feels more special, but yeah it's a worse format.

That said, entered anyway and just got the winning email. Can't wait for it to sit in the basement for 10 years because it's too much to drink

So far, so bad. However, I did score more sugar water (Affinity)!

I deserve this, they started showing what they thought of Ambassadors last year. I signed up again regardless.

 

What are ambassadors guaranteed with no additional costs? And what the yearly cost

I’m the biggest BCBS fanboy, and I used to have a lot of Pink Floyd Merch, but I really just don’t understand why people buy 99% of the merch they do. Especially hoodies and hats. That shit is always overpriced (by a factor of at least 2x for what you are getting), and for me never something I’ll wear.

I’ll drink your beer all day long, but I’d rather put my money toward clothing that meets the qualities that I want, and doesn’t just have a cool design.
