3 Floyds Brewing (2023)

Why are Arctic Panzer Wolf and Brian Boru listed as archive beers on their site rather than year round, seasonal or limited beers? That would seem to imply they aren't making them.

 

Just wanna state for the third time that this is the best batch of BA Behemoth since 2017. Not sure what they did but the finish just blows away recent batches. Getting more heat too.. Definitely giving me flashbacks of the 2017 Old Fo' barrel one which is my favorite beer

Also my local shop got bought by another local shop and was charging $32.99 for a 4 pack. I drove across the river to Louisville and got them for $20.99

Also grabbed a pack or $50Milly Man for the weekend. I really enjoyed it last time

 

Was it Bridge liquors? Because those **** suckers can eat a dick. (Clearly not eating enough based on what I just said.)

 

Bridge Liquors bought Keg Liquors. Last year Bridge was price gouging on BA Behemoth now Keg is too. So yes Bridge Liquors basically.

I went to Old Town Liquors on Bardstown Rd. for the $20.99 pack.

$50M Man must have been fairly priced too because I spent $41 after tax for both packs

 

Just for anyone that doesn’t visit this area, Bridge is the place that will not put prices on anything, especially anything behind the counter. You ask, and it’s always secondary or worse for whiskey. And for beer, it’s always high. Sometimes laughably so.

 

My go-to for bourbon is Old Fo 100 proof pints and Bridge was charging $17 when I can get it for $12 at every other store in the area

 

Disappointing that they bought Keg. I’m not sure if they had multiple locations, but I occasionally visit the one in the Target parkinglot. It was hit or miss, but it was nice when I found something (mostly talking about beer). Guess I can cross that off the list. Suppose the party time liquor store west of the belt will probably be my go to from now on when in the area. Usually costs me about 30 minutes in detour time, but *shrug*.

There’s another few stores in the nearby towns that were purchased in 2022. The beer in them haven’t all changed prices (but that was never their strong suit), but whiskey is all skyrocketed crazy prices now. I never found anything amazing, but frustrating when things you’d run into like ECBP are now stupidly prices rather than reasonable or $15 high.

 

Forgot to mention a while back I ran into a guy at a Primus show in cincinnati wearing a BA Behemoth shirt.. Definitely dapped him up

it’s a tiny place, but they have a great relationship with 3 Floyd’s.

The taplist is wild, and will have feature Zombie Ice, 4 DL variants, a BA stout collab with Ray’s, and Cocomungo (among many, many others)

The food options are also plentiful.

Ray’s throws an incredible party, and they deserve so much more hype for them.

I don't really care what it is, as long as people get back to posting their pictures (or albums via flickr etc.). I need to liver vicariously through you all, and also see the shenanigans. Guy face down in trashcan is always a winner.

 

I thought it was bad when they just stole your allocation, now we’ve got to worry about waking up in a porta potty full of ice with missing body parts..
