    Good morning BAs! Off to a cloudy but warm start today - 38 F/3 C - with a 90% chance of rain all day.

    Laundry day, so I'm trying out the Earth Breeze sheets (A fine Chinese product!) rather than my usual Tide.

    Today's New Breakfast Beer:

    Not a bad breakfast drink, mostly coffee and no hint of stout. Maple ghosts in and out but doesn't stay. Rating 3.41, rDev -10%

    Hello @Ozzylizard, thanks for starting us off today.

    Yesterday was my own laundry day. Today is pleasantly mild and sunny. You’d think it’s spring already but forget it. We’re not through yet with it.

    Drinking Stone Buenaveza, I’d love to have found Xocoveza instead but it’s not bad, though a bit bellow my preferred ABV range at 4,7%.

    Still quite quaffable and tasty… cheers!

    Bit of a weather contrast from today to yesterday - it was 71 and sunny, and very windy - rain and 50's today, before cold front moves in and some snow overnight and Friday....ah well, stouty kinda day after all....

    My 3rd from Shortfuse the couple of days, I will say their beers are consistently ok.

    I only bought one, you win. Is it still relatively fresh? Mine was best drank before May 2023, so I’d assume it has a few months on it yet still good as ever.

    ...went to work this morning only for leadership to make the call, only after so many people made the drive to work, to close down for the day. made a stop at one of our favorite bakeries on the way home and picked up some chocolate almond croissants. salud BAs! #bcbs #nevergetsold

    Kinn Svartekunst F.E.D.I.R.E.S.P. 2019 (Foreign Extra Double Imperial Russian Export Stout Porter 10%).
    Svartekunst translates to something like black magic / black art(s). Great beer for a winter evening like we have here now.

    Back when I first joined BA I was interested in earning points and such, one of the things I was doing was trying to find and try beers from as many countries as possible. The other day I found a couple of beers I had not tried. This one from Ethiopia. Wasn't expecting much. It's drinkable.
