I was made aware that I have 31 “ticks,” and not officially 2,500 reviews. I had a brief period where I was not 100% Raul, in which I just ticked. I thought I deleted all of those - because I prefer succinct reviews. I may have missed some. But along the way, I do see that beers I know that I wrote reviews for have disappeared (my review is gone, but a tick score has stayed). At this moment, I am thinking of retirement - because I will not be silenced. Good day!

Jan 2018 Stone Fyodor Series 1 (BA Totalitarian). Just past the 5 year mark. Cork was tight, so a good sign that oxidation won’t be a factor. Pours with a lively mocha head. Nose pulls up heavy barrel wood char and bourbon. Flavor is still on point. No frills, solid malt base, near perfect mouthfeel, and much of that bourbon and wood on the back end, with a long linger.
